I used to think that heartbreaks were the end of the world, until I realized that they were GOD's mercy & provision for preservation for my life. Nothing really prepares us for the disappointments life throws at us...well, actually, something does prepare us, but we seldom reckon it so, because our version of reality doesn't accommodate visions of negative situations, especially when it has to do with our relationships.
In the grand scheme of things, (some) romantic heartbreaks prepare us for a future of sustained happiness and bliss. It keeps us from error, though in the midst of the storm, it never feels like that; especially when the hurt still feels fresh & the wounds still keep cutting deeply into our souls.
No one wants to feel the brunt of a bruised ego or emotion, but it's in the midst of storms we realize if our sense of direction is in alignment to the course of our lives or if we're in dire need of recalibration. Not every heartbreak is a blessing, let's be clear on that. However, how we choose to navigate heartbreaks determine if they're a gift or a burden. In hindsight, there's always something more glorious, more grandeur, more prophetic to look forward to, especially when the past we've been holding on to isn't in our grasp anymore. There's always better ahead! Heartbreaks give us the perfect conditions to review ourselves & to make character & personality adjustments where needed. If you're Christian & single, there's something truly beautiful ahead of you. Don't dwell on the negatives and self-pity that comes with heartbreaks. Look to GOD's Word for comfort. Look to prayer for ventilation & relief and look to The Holy Spirit for help whenever you're in need of encouragement. There's something truly beautiful about following GOD's roadmap for your life. ABBA never promised it would be smooth sailing, He only promised that come hail come sunshine, He'll always be with us through every storm. So don't see that failed relationship as a failure. See it as a blessing — to work on yourself even more, to get closer to Jesus and to be the very best version for who GOD would have you partner with in life. Some heartbreaks are orchestrated to realign you back to your path of destiny & purpose. You can either see the glass as half empty or half full. The choice is yours, so choose to always see it as half full.

Side Note:
I woke up with these words in my Spirit and I want you to save this photo and share it along with this passage of scripture:
We are assured and know that [God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love GOD and are called according to [His] design and purpose.
— Romans 8:28 AMPC
Thank you for the side note!
This side note is definitely for me. Had that scripture in my spirit all night and during devotion this morning, it was referenced.
And look at me seeing it here again. Thank you for sharing.
