Why would anyone have you in their life and choose to lose you? Why would they choose to be less than what you desire? Why would rain fall on your pretty head, when it can choose to fall all around you without getting your braids wet? Why would I not fall deeply in love with you, when all I see is you right next to me for all eternity.

I don't need a year to figure out if we're meant to be. I don't need a month to know that I love you. All I need is a day with you, to hear you talk and to see if our paths truly are in alignment. That's all I need to know I want to spend forever with you. I just need a date with you to show you why choosing to be with me would be the 2nd best decision you'll ever make, after salvation.
